GOD NEEDS TO BE NUMBER 1

So there's only 20 seconds on the clock and your down by 1 point. What is your reaction? GET THAT LAST SCORE. You put everything you have on the court,field, what ever sport. Well why isn't this in our relationship with god? We can give it everything we got in a sport when the games on the line, but why not put it in our life long sport with god?We need to learn how to be a starter for God, and give it all we got for him. All us christian athletes get caught up in the worlds version of being the best. They want to be rich,and famous,they want to be the ones that get the girls,and the popularity. We all have our dreams of being the best at our sport. NOW theres no problem with that, just as long as we are being the best for God. Peter in the bible says to run a good race, and fight the good fight. That applys to our God life. It can apply to your sports life but it cant be number 1. So pretty much what im saying is that you have to put god first before your sport.

Suck it up

This is my first time blogging so bare with me. Hello everyone i am Josh Freeman and this blog is pretty much about saying what i couldnt say in the description. Well anyways i love sports. My favorite sport is soccer. Like some of you i go to high school and i play sports in my high school. I run cross country, play soccer, and run track. Now notice how I play sports in my high school. What i meant there was i dont play for my school like everyone says. .I PLAY FOR GOD. And that is what this whole blog is for. Now my goal is to help you and even my self play for God. I know this is going to be hard for some. GOSH. its hard for me. Some of you probably play football and im sure you hear the term suck it up alot. Well thats what we need to do for God. SUCK it up.
